Charlies Owl

This Saw Whet Owl was painted on a primed oak panel. I love playing with shadows and light, it just descibes the subject beautifully, and can make or break a painting. Just an opinion........this painting is sold.

  Details of a recently finished 4"x4"mural.( for a Marquette Co. quilt trail) It will eventually be placed  downtown Montello in a custom built frame by a local wood carver. I painted this on an exterior-treated panel with exterior acrylics it's final resting place will be in Daggett Park (or in that vicinity)Montello, Wisc. I hope it lasts because I am taking permanent ownership of it....meaning I will be doing the up-keep for the rest of my life! Geez, that'll keep me busy! Three more to go.......C.J.
